FAIRFIELD

The story of Glasgow's greatest shipyard

Volunteer

Fairfield Heritage is looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help visitors from all over the world enjoy the fascinating story of Glasgow’s shipbuilding history. You don’t require any previous knowledge of Clyde shipbuilding or past museum experience.

Tell us how often you’d like to get involved. Would you prefer a regular scheduled afternoon (e.g. weekly/ fortnightly) or something more occasional? Fairfield Heritage is open daily from 1pm-4pm, meaning that volunteers generally come along for these short afternoon stints of 3 hours.

If you would like to become a Fairfield Volunteer, learn about the history of this famous yard and help visitors do the same please call Abigail Morris on 0141 445 5866 or e-mail mail@fairfieldgovan.co.uk.
