This talk by Alastair Hart will explore the significant activity of Shipment or Knock-Down vessels that were delivered from Clyde shipyards to a multitude of global destinations and their legacy.

There will be a follow-on talk in the coming months which will illustrate some examples of the contribution Clyde shipyards made to overseas yards that are major shipbuilders to this day.

Alastair has worked in the marine industry for forty years starting as a student apprentice on the Lower Clyde.
